The Role
Within our Aftersales division, we have an opportunity for motivated, organised and driven Maintenance Technicians/ Engineers Nationwide. Providing on and off site corrective and preventative maintenance and offer aftersales technical support solutions.

Jungheinrich Ireland and our parent company headquartered in Germany, is a manufacturer and supplier of material handling equipment and warehousing technology solutions. Our product portfolio includes reach trucks, order pickers, shuttle and pallet carriers, high rack stackers, driverless transport systems, automatic high-rack silo conveyors, rack servicing cranes and various other manual and autonomous material handling systems. Coupled with this we provide internal logistics design services, warehousing technology solutions and material flow consultancy. The company has operations in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa regions.
We now have a unique opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. Operating out of Dublin and the surrounding region, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and developing sales and delivery strategies to increase regional systems sales revenue, ensuring in the process that client and business needs are met.
Reporting to the Logistics Systems Director, the specific responsibilities include:
Sales Development:
• Responsible for development, of sales in Dublin region, primarily acquisition and sales promotion of Jungheinrich Systems intralogistics offerings.
• Responsible for technical promotion Jungheinrich intralogistics products, covering Warehouse Equipment, AGV’s, AMR, VNA, ASRS solutions.
• Regular market observation with feedback to Management concerning relevant business developments, market developments, competitor activity.
• Pricing and technical proposals / presentations for clients and prospects within your region, including CPD presentations to engineering consultancy firms.
• Work with in-house CRM systems to help drive sales and assist with accurate forecasting within the sales year.
Customer Service:
• Responsible for providing high levels of service and satisfaction to internal and external clients.
• Resolve problems, identify trends, determine sales system improvements, and suggest change where appropriate.
• Work closely with implementation team to ensure a successful project install. Helping to maintain agreed timelines, technical details, and project margins.
Achieving Results:
• Achieving of annual targets (turnover, costs, margins, market share) and allocation of adopted annual planning in your region sales region,
• Growing the market share and market awareness of the Jungheinrich full product offering within systems in the Dublin Region
• Work with other internal departments, (truck sales, used equipment, short term rental and after sales), in Jungheinrich to ensure a cohesive view of the company from the client perspective.
We are looking for someone with excellent initiative, drive, and dedication, with an appetite to grow and develop both commercially and operationally. We are looking for people with demonstrated competencies in the following areas:
• Customer Orientation – Must provide high levels of service to internal and external customers.
• Knowledgeable in business administration and ability to achieve results.
• Focused with a high sense of responsibility and overarching entrepreneurial approach.
• Adaptable with an ability to cope with diverse range of tasks and workplace situations.
• Demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• 3+ years technical sales experience
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate at all different levels.
• Ability to operate independently as well as within a team.
• MS-Office knowledge
• Familiar with the use of a CRM system
• Knowledge of the intralogistics industry would be a distinct advantage.
• CAD skilled – desirable but not essential
• Basic understanding of figures and finance
