11 Years Direct in Ireland
Jungheinrich Ireland is delighted to be celebrating its 11th year of operation as a direct sales organisation in Ireland.
In 2001 Jungheinrich began its purchase of the then dealership, BOSS Trucks, who held a 7% market share in the material handling sector. Today Jungheinrich Ireland has progressed to become market leader, holding 30% of its market share.
Jungheinrich as an organisation have direct sales in 32 countries and also dealerships in other countries across the globe.
Jungheinrich started its life in Ireland in Cookstown Industrial Estate and in 2006 the company relocated to a purpose built 3000 sq. metres facility in Maynooth Business Campus, Co. Kildare. The €6M investment by the German parent company, Jungheinrich AG to a state of the art building which houses Jungheinrich Sales, STR and Used Equipment, Operator Training and After-market support functions.
This investment further strengthened our commitment to our customer base in the Irish Logistics market. Since our establishment in 2001 the company has flourished producing an annual turnover of €26+ million per year.
Jungheinrich has evolved from a manufacturer of industrial trucks to a manufacturing logistics service provider, offering a comprehensive range of solutions for our customer logistics requirements. We offer a design consultation for all warehousing requirements including the supply and installation of pallet racking systems. A truly ‘one stop shop’ turn-key logistics solution supplier and this significant investment has allowed us to develop and grow our presence even further.
The basis of our success in Ireland is our broad range of services including direct sales of both new and used trucks, financial services for either lease purchase and contract hire options, certified operator training all supported by an unrivalled After-sales team with 40 mobile service technicians located throughout Ireland. In 2010 Jungheinrich Ireland participated in the FAS “Excellence Through People Programme” and was awarded the Excellence Through People Standard Certification in October 2010.
In 2010 Jungheinrich also opened a purpose built Sales and Training facility in Cork where we now offer Training Programmes in E.C.D.L. courses, First Aid Training, Forklift Driver Training, Health & Safety Training, Health & Safety Consultancy, FAS New Entrant Construction (CSCS) Courses.
