In October 2006 Jungheinrich Ireland changed location moving from Cookstown Tallaght to a brand new facility in Maynooth Business Campus, Co Kildare.
The Reason
The €6 million investment on a new premises to a new state of the art premises gave the company a better chance to prepare for its expansion and growing business portfolio.
The Location
Choosing a site in Maynooth Business campus just off the N4 motorway strengthened the company's committment to its customer base, with the advantage of a faster transport and delivery service and easier access and exit routes.
The Building
The new premises offers a 3000 square metre building with a modern Workshop an extended Warehouse for stocking the complete Jungheinrich range of Forktrucks and the latest in pallet racking and installation systems.
The Technology
In line with a new premises, Jungheinrich Ireland also made the decision to migrate its computer system to SAP. This allowes the business to link in to its central warehouse in Hamburg and provides the advantage of up to the minute information on stock levels, truck levels and software updates making the company more professional and customer orientated. Each of our service technicians has the use of an individual laptop which allows instant integration into the company's mainframe.
