The Jungheinrich Group opened a production plant in Lüneburg in 1990. This plant designs and manufactures special tailored material handling solutions to suit individual customer requirements. It covers an area of 20,500 square metres, of which 7,950 square metres area is the manufacturing facility and currently employs 150 personnel. Special applications require customised fork lift trucks this is particularly relevant for transporting unusual goods or for operating in confined areas. Jungheinrich provides an individual alternative: the Jungheinrich special-build. Here the quality and efficiency of standard truck production is combined with very individual requirements. Modular construction of the whole Jungheinrich range makes this possible. Added to this are the further advantages of standard production: excellent reliability, service friendliness and high productivity.
Although we are able to individually develop a suitable truck solution for you, standards and directives are important regarding being 100% accurate re: our standardised production. These include EU safety requirements, quality standards, test routines, standardisation and ISO certification.
