EFG S40s

Our EFG S40s won the IFOY Award 2014 in the category “Counter Balanced Trucks from 3.5 tonnes”. What particularly convinced the nomination jury was the counterbalanced truck's Pure Energy technology concept.

Thanks to the most advanced three-phase AC technology in combination with the compact controls and compact hydraulic unit, energy consumption is significantly reduced – while simultaneously increasing throughput.

Measurements as per the VDI cycle show: At maximum throughput, it uses up to 20 percent less energy than a comparable competitor model. This means that, for the first time, it is now possible for a truck in this class to complete two shifts with a single battery charge.

The IFOY jurors also emphasised the ergonomic advantages of the EFG S40s: Intuitively adjustable controls and a wide range of storage options help to make a day's work easier. And the SnapFit lateral battery exchange system also guarantees a reliable, simple and quick replacement of batteries.
