Fire Safety Managers Course

This course is designed for those with responsibility for fire safety within the workplace.

Course Details
This course is designed for those with responsibility for fire safety within the workplace. It will give them the tools to put in place a fire safety programme and monitor it. An important feature of the course is the practical use of the Live Fire Demo Unit, which allows the instructor to demonstrate most fire sources and the participants to use fire extinguishers, including many specific fire hazards in the workplace. The Fire Services Act 1981 (2003) imposes responsibilities on the person having control of premises to take all reasonable measures to guard against the outbreak of fire on such premises and to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of persons on the premises in the event of an outbreak of fire whether such outbreak has occurred or not.
