Logistics Interface

Our Logistics Interface has been nominated in the IFOY category “Intralogistics Solutions”. Unique across the industry, this interface software is a powerful middleware product for the warehouse which connects trucks to the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The Logistics Interface offers a wide range of application options. It is used as standard with warehouse navigation in narrow and wide aisles as well as in RFID technology, for positioning and in the use of automatic scanners.

In addition, the Logistics Interface can be used with the auto pallet mover (APM) and in association with the virtual under pallet carrier (UPC) remote control operation. There are a number of options for connecting to the WMS, including file transfer, TCP/IP, Telnet and many others. Moreover, it can also work in reverse which means that the Logistics Interface is able to send feedback quickly and easily to the WMS.

The system makes work significantly easier for the truck operator. Transport orders are sent directly to the drive controls; all the operator has to do is step on the accelerator. The error rate in the warehouse is significantly reduced to 0 percent. And, in turn, this increases efficiency by up to 25 percent.
